About Us

Our Story

Our founder, a registered Electrical Service Technician, holds a current practicing license issued by the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB). With years of experience in repair of electrical & electronic equipment, our founder's advanced skills set Test Tag and Repair apart from other testing and tagging companies.

Our founder lives with Marfan's syndrome, a connective tissue disorder that makes the typical 40-hour work week impossible. Test Tag and Repair was born out of necessity - a way to build a sustainable income while working within physical limitations. But what started as a practical solution has become a genuine passion project.

With a lifelong interest in electronics and a natural curiosity for understanding how things work, our founder has always enjoyed disassembling and reassembling devices. This enthusiasm led to working with various companies, gaining valuable experience repairing whiteware, welding machines, and plasma cutters aswell as all manner of random items that cam in at a general electricalm goods repair store. In his free time, our founder also enjoys experimenting with arduino and ESP32 microcontroller-based projects.

The goal is simple: provide an affordable, fair, and eco-friendly repair service. Our comprehensive knowledge ensures that your equipment is meticulously evaluated, preventing false readings and identifying potential issues that might go unnoticed by less experienced technicians.

Our Mission

At Test Tag and Repair, our mission is to ensure the safety and compliance of electrical equipment for our clients. We believe in delivering efficient, reliable, and professional services that you can trust.

Sustainable Service

Our company is committed to environmentally responsible practices. By utilizing a low-emission hybrid vehicle, we provide mobile services that minimize our environmental impact.

Environmental Commitment

We offer cost-effective repair solutions as an alternative to purchasing new equipment. By maintaining and repairing existing devices, we help decrease the carbon footprint associated with manufacturing.

Eco-Friendly Recycling

We partner with a third-party organization to recycle end-of-life appliances & E-waste to reclaim precious metals, reduce landfill waste, and process toxic elements safely.
